Bill Schuette Has Ignored Job of AG for Years
Schuette has spent years defending corporate polluters, extremists, and his political interests
MICHIGAN — Progress Michigan released the following statement regarding Bill Schuette saying, “My job right now is running for governor.” The footage was obtained at an event at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club where Schuette was the keynote speaker.
“Let’s be honest, running for governor has been Bill Schuette’s job since he took office and it’s been a disaster for working families. We have published evidence which we have taken to court showing how he has used his office for political gain over the years — while at the same time defending corporate polluters and siding with extremists,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “He has spent day after day on the campaign trail on the public’s time lately and has spent years doing the bidding of corporate donors. Bill Schuette has fought against clean air and water, affordable health care, and freedom and equality for all. Michigan deserves better from their attorney general.”
