Terri Lynn Land Clearly Not Ready for Tough Decisions in U.S. Senate
MICHIGAN — While on Michigan Radio’s Michigan Calling program, Terri Lynn Land dodged questions from voters and failed to prove that she is ready to handle the high-pressure, high-stakes situations that arise for a U.S. Senator.
“Terri Lynn Land is clearly not ready for the tough decisions that need to be made in the U.S. Senate. After that interview, it’s obvious why her campaign has kept her in hiding for the last year and half,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “She dodged a number of questions, couldn’t come up with specific ideas when asked and her positions overall don’t line up with what is best for Michigan families, only her corporate backers. Terri Lynn Land constantly criticized President Obama for his supposed failure to lead, but she showed us today that leadership and accountability are not qualities that she possesses.”
