Progress Michigan: New Poll Shows Schauer Ahead in Gubernatorial Race

LANSING — A new poll released today by Progress Michigan shows Mark Schauer gaining a slight advantage over Gov. Rick Snyder with two weeks until the election.

The polls were conducted from October 11th through October 13th and October 19th through October 20th by Clarity Campaign Labs and represent a sample of 1,032 likely voters. Both polls were conducted through landline and cellular phones.

The data shows Schauer leading Snyder 44 percent to 41 percent with 15 percent undecided.

The poll shows an uptick in support for Schauer since the last poll released by Progress Michigan, which showed the race as a dead heat. The latest poll also included data for the U.S. Senate and Attorney General races.
