Progress Michigan Launches “Really, Terri?” Campaign to Educate Voters on Land’s Policy Positions

Website and video seek to highlight Land’s silence on important issues

LANSING – Today, Progress Michigan launched a website that aims to hold Terri Lynn Land accountable and shed light on her policies to educate Michiganders on where she stands.

The website, reallyterrilynnland.org, highlights Land’s position on issues that affect Michigan residents. The website also touches on the many issues that Land has remained silent on and includes a parody video: “This Land’s Not Your Land,” which educates voters about her commitment to corporate greed over Michiganders.

“Terri Lynn Land has been pandering to corporate special interests instead of talking with Michigan voters,” said Veronica Van Loon, communications coordinator at Progress Michigan. “We want to make sure the public knows exactly where Land stands on issues, and where she has been silent.”

Throughout the past year, Land has attempted to position herself as an average American who understands the needs and wants of Michigan residents, especially women, but that isn’t the case.

“Terri Lynn Land says she will be a champion for Michiganders, and yet she has been towing the line for her corporate donors and the far-right of her party,” Van Loon continued. “Land has so far shown no interest in being accountable to the public and hopefully shining light on her policy positions will help change that.”
