Progress Michigan Welcomes Lynna Kaucheck
Kaucheck brings over 15 years of advocacy experience to Progress Michigan
MICHIGAN — Progress Michigan is excited to welcome Lynna Kaucheck as their new Communications and Development Coordinator.
“Lynna’s skills and experience in Michigan politics make her a real asset to our growing team,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “Lynna has spent years building strong relationships with progressive allies across the state and developing and implementing strategic campaigns. She is passionate about building a progressive movement in Michigan that is both equitable and just and we’re excited about the energy that she brings to our team.”
Kaucheck began working on environmental issues and electoral campaigns in Michigan in 2002. Over the years, she has worked on a wide variety of Great Lakes and social justice issues. She has developed and maintained coalitions at the local, state and federal level, worked to get progressive lawmakers elected to office and developed creative strategies to engage voters.
“I’m thrilled to join the Progress Michigan team,” said Kaucheck. “After almost three years in Colorado, I am so happy to be back home in Michigan working on issues I care about, holding our lawmakers accountable and fighting to make real improvements in our communities and peoples’ lives.”
