Progress Michigan on MRP “Fraudit”
MICHIGAN – The Michigan Republican Party and their army of conspiracy theorists are calling for another audit of the November 2020 election. In response Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan released the following statement:
“Rudy Giuliani and the ‘big lie’ circus were invited to town and apparently left behind a few clowns.
Even though state and local officials have already audited the November 2020 election and found it to be accurate and secure, the Michigan Republican Party and their minions are focused on promoting a failed presidential candidate rather than doing the work that needs to be done to improve the lives of the people of Michigan.
At a time when families across the state are still struggling to find their footing coming out the pandemic the Michigan Republican party has chosen to mobilize around another audit of the largest and most successful election in our state’s history. Instead of pushing to waste state resources on an unnecessary audit they should be calling on their leaders in the House and Senate to get to work passing a budget and on legislation that truly matters to Michiganders.”
