NEW POLL: Michigan House Democrats’ Priorities Have Bipartisan Support
MICHIGAN – Michigan policymakers have created a set of priority proposals aimed at making sure Michigan families have safe, affordable, and healthy communities laid out in the Vision for a Brighter Michigan. In polling conducted this March, our Lake Effect research results show that each of these proposals have strong bipartisan support.
“This legislature has been one of the least productive in Michigan history, and we can blame Speaker Matt Hall for that,” said Justin Mendoza, executive director of Progress Michigan. “Michiganders want to keep more of their hard-earned money instead of paying too damn much for basic needs like electricity and prescription drugs. As Michigan Republicans continue to cheer on the Trump administration despite our costs increasing for everything, we’re glad to see House Democrats work towards a vision that can ensure everyone across the state can live affordably.”
