New Poll: Michiganders Disapprove of the Trump Administration Agenda
MAGA Republicans Have America Headed in the Wrong Direction
MICHIGAN – On Monday, Progress Michigan released further results from the latest Lake Effect public opinion poll, including several questions about national politics and the Trump administration’s recent actions.
“When you look at what Trump and MAGA Republicans are doing to this country, it’s no wonder that more than half of Michiganders think we’re headed in the wrong direction,” said Sam Inglot, executive director of Progress Michigan. “After all their lies and false promises, Trump and his cronies are reminding the public once again that they govern for the wealthy few and are more than willing to throw working families and marginalized communities under the bus to rake in corporate profits. Their priorities are clear in their policy agenda, which includes rampant cuts to Medicaid and other basic needs programs to pay for corporate tax breaks, and in their refusal to release the Epstein files and hold those who have used their wealth and privilege to abuse children accountable.”
