Stand Up For Progress Tickets Go on Sale Friday
Fundraiser features stand up comedy from The Daily Show’s Al Madrigal
MICHIGAN — Progress Michigan announced today that tickets for the organization’s first-ever Stand Up For Progress fundraiser go on sale Friday. Al Madrigal of The Daily Show will be headlining the event.
The event will be emceed by the Fake Rick Snyder (played by Mark Boyd) and will feature special guest standup from Lansing City Councilwoman Kathie Dunbar. The event will take place June 3rd at the Rackham Auditorium in Ann Arbor.
“This is very exciting occasion for Progress Michigan and the progressive community in Michigan,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “We’re thrilled to be hosting an evening of laughs and entertainment while enjoying the company of our allies and supporters.”
Tickets are $25 for students and those who have donated to Progress Michigan in the past year. Tickets for the general public are $35.
Tickets can be purchased through the Michigan Union Ticket Office.
