Al Madrigal of The Daily Show to Headline Progress Michigan Fundraiser
More information on “Stand Up For Progress” event to come
LANSING — The Daily Show’s Al Madrigal will headline a June 3, 2015 fundraiser for Progress Michigan, the watchdog and advocacy organization announced today.
The event, “Stand Up For Progress,” will be emceed by the Fake Rick Snyder (played by Mark Boyd) and will feature special guest standup from Lansing City Councilwoman Kathie Dunbar. The event will take place June 3rd at the Rackham Auditorium in Ann Arbor. More information will be released in the coming weeks, including where and how to buy tickets.
“Progress Michigan is proud to ‘stand up for progress’ every day in Michigan and we couldn’t be happier that Al Madrigal will be joining us for this event,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “We hope folks will join us for an evening of comedy and fun.”
