Dangerous drugs like Vioxx, Resulin, and Phen-fen have been blamed for tens of thousands of deaths and injuries across the nation, but in Michigan drug companies get a free ride and our citizens have no voice.

For almost a year, Senator Mike Bishop, Sen. Wayne Kuipers and their supporters in the Michigan Senate have refused to act on legislation (SB 43) that would remove this special treatment for drug companies and restore Michigan citizens’ right to hold the drug industry accountable when its products harm or kill.
