CPL Progressive Local Candidacy Training (Training)
CPL's Michigan Progressive Candidate Training Program is designed to help progressive individuals develop the skills and resources they need to advance progressive change through local elected office.

This six-part comprehensive training program provides the nuts and bolts of putting together a winning campaign for local office, as well as developing the leadership qualities necessary to advance progressive change.

The program is for individuals who: (1) are planning or considering to run for an elected office in the near or distant future or (2) will be serving as campaign managers for progressive candidates for elected office.

From school board trustee to state representative, local elected leaders help set many of the policies that most directly affect our communities. Do you have the desire to be part of the change that helps advance progressive change in our communities?

The Michigan Progressive Candidate Training Program helps individuals who want to be a part of shaping the agenda of their communities through local elected office. The program includes:

* Three comprehensive workshop weekends
* Personal Political Leadership Plan
* Coaching

Weekend workshop topics will include:
* Fundraising
* Message Development & Delivery
* Campaign and Strategic Planning
* Policy Leadership
