UNITED FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS (UFCW) STATEWIDE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATE RESEARCHER
(Position is full-time and based in Madison Heights, Michigan)
Duties include:
- Compiling, researching, and summarizing data on industries, companies, individuals, and issues
- Answering requests for information
- Assisting in production of written materials
- Assisting in data input and maintenance of computer database files
- Proven ability to plan and lead complex projects
- Strong strategic campaign experience and/or financial analysis experience
Experience/Qualifications:
- A commitment to progressive social change and activist experience
- Significant research skills and excellent writing ability
- Familiarity with a variety of computer based research tools and good quantitative skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and in a team environment
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours when needed
- A two year commitment is required
